Rinsing fluids for polyurethane foams

Flushing fluids for sealants
In the past, solvents such as dichloromethane (DCM, also known as methylene chloride), dimethylformamide (DMF) and N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) were frequently used as rinsing fluids for polysulphide, silicone and polyurethane sealants. Due to the risks they pose to the environment and occupational safety, these substances are now considered critical. Our modern rinsing agents offer a reliable and safe alternative: they are free from these hazardous solvents and, in some cases, are completely exempt from labelling requirements under the CLP Regulation.
