Acetone is a widely used cleaning agent in polymer processing, but it has significant drawbacks: a high evaporation rate, an increased fire hazard (flash point -18 °C) and high levels of workplace exposure to vapours. CVH METACLEAN KR 3060 offers an innovative solution for cleaning tools, surfaces and production equipment during the processing of 1K and 2K polymers.
- Improved workplace safety – lower vapour pressure (15 hPa vs. 247 hPa for acetone) reduces vapour exposure and fire risk (flash point +27 °C).
